Privacy Policy

Zune is a software studio based in Islamabad, Pakistan, working with teams across the UK and EU. For questions about this policy or about any data we hold on you, contact hello@zune.click.

This website is a static site. It has no server, no database and no analytics or advertising cookies. Simply reading these pages does not create a record of you anywhere in our systems.

We receive personal data in only two situations:

• You email us. Every form on this site — the contact form, the careers applications, the chat assistant and the project prompt — works by opening a pre-filled draft in your own email application. Nothing is transmitted when you fill those fields in. We receive your name, email address and whatever you wrote only if you then choose to press send in your mail client.
• We contact you for business development. If we approach your organisation about our services, we may hold your name, work email address, job title, employer and publicly available business information.

Where you contact us, our lawful basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in replying to you.

Where we contact you about work, our lawful basis is legitimate interest in business development, limited to business contacts at organisations plausibly interested in what we build. We do not send marketing to personal addresses, and every message we send includes a way to tell us to stop. If you do, we stop, and we keep a record of the fact that you asked so that we do not contact you again by mistake.

Our email is hosted by Zoho, who process mail on our behalf. Our site is served by GitHub Pages, which records standard server logs including IP addresses, under GitHub's own privacy terms. Some fonts, video and imagery on this site are loaded from third-party hosts (Google Fonts, CloudFront, Pexels), which means those providers can see your IP address and browser details when the assets load.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Enquiries and their email threads are kept for up to 24 months from our last exchange, so we have context if you come back to us. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months. Objections to being contacted are kept indefinitely, because that is the only way to honour them.

If you are in the UK or EU you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. You also have the right to object to direct marketing at any time, which we will always honour.

Email hello@zune.click and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your national data protection authority in the EU.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting people who have already contacted us will be communicated by email.
